The Ecology Library and Data Center rethinks the relationship between public knowledge spaces and infrastructural systems within Downtown Los Angeles. The project positions architecture as a mediator between ecological processes and highly controlled interior environments, using landscape, section, and spatial sequencing to blur boundaries between indoor and outdoor space. Rather than treating landscape as a backdrop, the building integrates it as a performative and experiential component of the architecture.​​​​​​​
